Summer Reading Program

Fairy tales, folk tales, myths, funny stories, scary stories, adventures, mysteries, and so much more! Open a book and discover a new world! Imagination is all you need to discover magical worlds and activities. Everyone is welcome on this quest for knowledge, fun, and adventure as you “Imagine Your Story“. Whether its fantastical beasts or supernatural powers that fuel your imagination, the story is yours to create.

All ages are invited to participate in Summer Reading! Everyone benefits from keeping their minds active over the summer, even babies and adults!

Registration for our 2020 Summer Reading Program is now open! Signing up is simple! Due to the COVID 19 crisis, there won’t be any in-person library programming this year. Registration and book/minute logging will be through online software. If you would prefer a paper log, please call us at the library (814-929-5639) and request it for curbside pickup. The last day to record (or turn in) your logs will be August 15, 2020, so that we may have all the information for prize drawings.

Choose your quest below by clicking on your age group, and register online by clicking the “Create New User” button. (When you register, please enter the school grade the child just completed, if applicable.) Register individually or as a family or group using one email address. Come on and join in on the fun! Earn virtual badges and prizes as you and your child reads. We will also have “Grab & Go” bags for the kids (full of activities, craft supplies, etc.)
