wilcox Public Library’s Response to coronavirus

Wilcox Public Library Closed Due to Coronavirus

Wilcox Public Library has been closely observing the development of the COVID-19 pandemic. Out of the utmost concern for the health, safety, and well-being of our patrons, staff and the community at large, the library is now closed. The library will remain closed until further notice.

We have extended due dates for all Library materials currently checked out. We ask that you keep your materials and wait to return them until normal operations have been restored in order to prevent further spread of the virus.

If you need a Library card or need assistance accessing any online resources, please email us at info@wilcoxlibrary.org or apply for a virtual card online.

Many services are available from home:

  • Download eBooks & eAudiobooks through Overdrive or the Libby app.
  • Get information or research by using the Pennsylvania's POWER Library, access in free with your library card.
  • Enroll in an instructor led online course through Gale Courses, courses cover all types of topics and subjects, and they are free with your library card.
  • Explore other online resources here.

We appreciate the community’s patience and assistance in preventing the spread of the coronavirus, and we look forward to restoring full service as soon as possible.

Please contact us at (814) 929-5639 or online if you have other questions or concerns.
