How Do I Get a Library Card?

1. Are you a resident of Jones Township?

Residents, businesses, and property owners in Jones Township may apply for a WPL card (with full patron privileges) at no charge.  Your WPL card (as a Jones Township resident) also comes with AccessPA membership, please register in person* at the library.

*Adults must present a photo ID and proof of current address to receive a library card. All children 3 to 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is required to sign the parental authorization.

2. Are you a resident of Pennsylvania with an Access PA card from your Home Library?

The Wilcox Public Library participates in the AccessPA Statewide Borrowing Program. Your PA home library AccessPA card gives you borrowing privileges at our library.

 3. Still don’t qualify?

Non-residents may pay a minimal fee for a WPL card with full patron privileges.  There are two options:

  1. Visitor Card:  $15.00 for 3 months; $5.00 for an additional consecutive month.
  2. Non-Resident Annual Card:  $60.00 for 12 months.

All WPL patron cards must be renewed every three years by presenting a current photo ID and verifying the current information on the account.

Lost or stolen cards and changes of address should be reported to the library as soon as possible. Replacements for lost cards are $5.00.

Print out and complete the required questions (they are marked with a red *) on the Library Card Application; then bring the completed form and your required ID and proof of address to the library!
