How can children, tweens, and teens participate?
One of the wonderful things about the Summer Quest program is that there are two ways to participate: 1) Attend weekly programs when it's convenient for your schedule and/or 2) Print off/pick-up an activity log, which can be completed on your own time. The youth participant can pick-up prizes at the library upon completion and return of their activity log(s). Contact the library for more information.
After we have your registration form on file, children are welcome to complete (1) activity log (which includes a survey component) and as many bonus logs as they can complete prior to the Saturday, July 27 deadline. Activity logs will be available online (on the bottom of this page) and at the library starting Monday, June 10.
When will Summer Quest run?
Summer Quest runs Monday, June 10 - Saturday, July 27. We'll be sharing information on programs and events as we have them scheduled. HERE is our calendar of events, keep checking back often. Tentatively, regular programming by age groups will be as follows:
Wee Ones (0-35 months): On your own time, at your leisure.
Space Explorers (Pre-K - Just finished 2nd grade): Mondays at 11 a.m.
Junior Jedi (Just finished 3rd grade - 6th grade): Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.
Teen Club (Just finished 7th-12th grade): On your own time, at your leisure.
** Please note that we are flexible with age group/skill level, so register in whichever group you believe your child will best succeed.
